Why Give to the NCDSA?
People often say they give in order to “make a difference.” This phrase means different things to different people. By donating to the North Carolina Down Syndrome Alliance, it means you WILL be making a difference and helping us fulfill our mission to empower, connect, and support the lifespan of individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community through outreach, advocacy, and education in North Carolina. Your donation, enables us to do such things as offer workshops for parents and self-advocates on IEP’s or healthy relationships, provide Welcome Baby Bags with vital resources for new parents and expectant parents. Your gift will also support a diverse set of Community Groups as well as fund special events like our Statewide conference, iCan Bike camp, and MOMS’ & DADS’ night out. These are just few ways in which your giving will make a difference!
To those of you have supported the NCDSA in the past – thank you! I hope that your generosity towards our mission continues.
